  • Christopher Koerner, PT, MPT, ART-Cert

    Masters of Physical Therapy, Partner/Clinic Director

    Chris is an enthusiastic triathlon participant, having completed four marathons. Chris has been with Neurosport Physical Therapy since 2004 and proudly became a partner with Carolyn Lawson with the opening of the Alpharetta clinic in 2008. Chris maintains the highest level of performance and is dedicated to his patients rehabilitation. Chris has completed all manual therapy courses at the University of St. Augustine. Chris has toured with NEURO Tour as well as been the Physical Therapist on multiple Broadway shows.

  • Julie Segall, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy - A Bronx Tale

    Julie grew up a dancer and a gymnast. She gave up gymnastics at 13 to pursue dancing further. In college, she majored in dance with a concentration in dance science. She had the opportunity to perform works by Mat Heggem, Heidi Henderson, and Doris Humphrey. She then moved to New York to dance professionally for a few years before beginning physical therapy school. As a practitioner, Julie combines her understanding of dance and dance medicine, Pilates based exercises, and manual therapy to address the body and its asymmetries. In her spare time, Julie can be found taking dance and Pilates classes, and spending time her husband and puppy, Ella Mae.

  • Alaina Hesse, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy - Concierge Physical Therapist

    Alaina was a competitive dancer and gymnast growing up. She has always had an interest in working with athletes and performing artists but after a positive and motivating experience with her physical therapist from a gymnastics injury, Alaina knew this was the field she wanted to pursue. She graduated from Columbia University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and completed her fellowship with NEURO TOUR treating the cast of Lion King Broadway in New York City. She continued on as the physical therapist for Wicked Emerald City Tour. Now Alaina is back in New York treating patients at our New York clinic.

  • Melvin Varghese, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy, Lion King Broadway

    Melvin has been dancing competitively since he was six years old. As an adult, he went on to become a principal dancer and choreographer for the internationally acclaimed show “Mystic India: The World Tour.” Among many other dancing accomplishments, Melvin is also a teacher of classical Indian dance. Melvin has always been driven by dancing, but knew he wanted to do something in the medical industry. He enjoys being a physical therapist because it doesn’t feel like a job to him at all. And his favorite thing about what he does is hearing patients say, “I feel so much better now because of you.” Melvin is very kind-natured and energetic and is dedicated to learning and being the best physical therapist he can be.

    Athletic Trainer Sleep No More

    Clay joined NEURO TOUR in 2016 working with the performers of “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat," bringing with him extensive Athletic Training abilities. Clay decided to become a certified athletic trainer after a personal paralyzation in the past. He enjoys working with the NEURO TOUR team because of their professionalism. When he's not busy with NEURO TOUR, Clay loves to cook, play volleyball and swim.

  • Nicole Horutz, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy - School of Rock & Waitress

    Nicole Horutz is a graduate from New York University. During her studies, she spent time in Nepal, serving as a volunteer student physical therapist for students with disabilities. She herself has spent time in physical therapy for back pain and a broken foot from dancing. Nicole was a competitive Irish dancer for 13 years, and competed at the World Irish Dancing Championships. Her main motivation as a physical therapist is to help performers and non-performers alike achieve their movement goals. She believes that listening to patients with both your hands and your ears can immensely impact a patients healing process.

  • Haley Weber, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy - STOMP & Beautiful: The Carole King Musical

    Haley joins NEURO TOUR with over 20 years of experience in performing arts in dance, theater, music and acappella. She has danced her entire life, since she was just three years old, and has been in nine musicals. Haley loves to travel to new places, and even completed a 10-week clinical in Florence, Italy. Since starting at NEURO TOUR, she has improved her manual skills and ability to treat creatively.

  • Natalie Farah, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy - STOMP & Beautiful: The Carole King Musical

    Natalie was surrounded by music and theater from a young age, beginning a dance career at the age of three. Natalie took an early interest in how the body moves and works and developed a passion to help others and found that physical therapy for the performing arts was the perfect field for her. She brings with her to Neurosport a unique perspective into what is involved physically in a show, and how to decrease a performer's risk of injury. Having experienced a few injuries herself, she understands how important it is to make sure your body is practicing the correct mechanics, in order to prevent a small injury from becoming a one that is career-threatening. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, skiing, kayaking and dancing.

  • Marianna DeCaro, PT, DPT

    NEURO TOUR Fellow

    Marianna brings to NEURO TOUR a specialization in women's health and a dance background in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, West African, modern and contemporary. She entered this field because of her love of performing arts and helping others. Since starting at NEURO TOUR, she has expanded her manual techniques, exercise progression, examination and evaluation skills and her understanding of modalities, such as FES and taping. Photo on the way!

    Licensed Massage Therapist

    Drew entered the massage therapy field to help high-lvel performers reach and live their dreams healthy. As a dancer  himself, he suffered from a torn ACL. This experience opened his eyes to the importance of keeping your body healthy, and was what gave him the desire to help others. When he is not helping patients, he enjoys being outdoors hiking and rock climbing. Photo on the way!

    Chris brings extensive management skills along with a fun, innovative and exciting personality with him to Neurosport Physical Therapy. Chris enjoys communicating and working with a diversity of people form all walks of life. When he is not working, Chris likes to exercise at the gym and play pool.
