Offering Physical Therapy services since 1996, East Cobb was the charter clinic for Neurosport Physical Therapy. We are proud to partner with Walton High School, North Atlanta Soccer Association (NASA) and Georgia United Soccer Association. We look forward to continued involvement within the community.

Meet Our Staff

  • Hampton Shugart, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy, Clinic Director

    After receiving his B.S. in exercise science from the University of South Carolina, Hampton graduated from the University of Southern California with a doctorate in physical therapy and an orthopedic residency from Emory University. When he was younger, Hampton suffered from numerous athletic injuries and had to have four knee surgeries before the age of 15. He thought he would never be able to play sports competitively again, but sticking to physical therapy made it possible. Hampton loves learning new things and educating patients and colleagues. In his time outside of the clinic, he mentors aspiring physical therapists on the latest in education and manual orthopedic skills for Emory's DPT/Residency program on a volunteer basis.

  • Chris Ross, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC

    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Chris entered the field of physical therapy because it combines customer service, human anatomy and sports, all into one. He also enjoys that physical therapy allows him to spend more direct, one-on-one time with his patients. Growing up, Chris played soccer with NASA for 12 years. While playing soccer, he sustained several lower extremity injuries and a concussion. This has allowed him to relate directly to patients who have a sports-related injuries and who desire to return to play. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games, weight lifting and fishing.

  • Carly Waters, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physcial Therapy

    Carly attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree in Exericse and Sport Science. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University, where she studied ACL recovery extensively. Carly was a dancer throughout her childhood and now that she is a PT, really enjoys working with patients who dance.

  • Natalie Farah, PT, DPT

    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Natalie was surrounded by music and theater from a young age, beginning a dance career at the age of three. Natalie took an early interest in how the body moves and works and developed a passion to help others and found that physical therapy for the performing arts was the perfect field for her. She brings with her to Neurosport a unique perspective into what is involved physically in a show, and how to decrease a performer's risk of injury. Having experienced a few injuries herself, she understands how important it is to make sure your body is practicing the correct mechanics, in order to prevent a small injury from becoming a one that is career-threatening. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, skiing, kayaking and dancing.

  • Raha Ostovar, DC

    Doctor of Chiropractic

    Raha entered the sports medicine field because of her passion for helping others reach their optimum physical state, through chiropractic practice. Raha has personally experienced an ACL sprain and anterolateral ligament sprain from soccer. Her own personal experience with injury, is what makes her love working with patients so much. She enjoys opening their eyes to the importance and healing power of chiropractic wellness care. She is passionate to enlighten the community with her knowledge and expertise in sports chiropractic.

  • Sydney Reeder

    Lead Physical Therapy Technician

    Sydney is the oldest of four kids, and grew up playing competitive soccer in addition to playing while at college. When she is not training and teaching incoming technicians and students, Sydney enjoys go hiking with her dog and long board when she is not at Neurosport.

  • Amie Buckley

    Physical Therapy Technician

    Amie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University in May 2016. She brings to Neurosport a caring personality and a drive to see patients succeed in their recovery. Her experience from managing high school soccer and wrestling teams has taught her that people can severely injure themselves and walk out better than ever before. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys reading and being outdoors.

  • Hunter Ingram

    Physical Therapy Technician

    Hunter graduated from the Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. "I enjoy serving others and my favorite way to do so, is by helping them overcome injuries." In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking and camping with his wife, Allison. Photo on the way! 

  • Bradley Wells, LMT

    Licensed Massage Therapist

    Bradley entered the field of massage therapy becasuse of his interest in human anatomy and desire to help people. In his time at Augusta School of Massage, he learned a variety of massage modalities, including swedish, chair, myofascial realease and nueuromuscular therapy. He is also highly-trained in orthopedic assessment and manual therapy techniques. In his spare time outside of Neurosport, he enjoys playing the ukelele.

  • Rachel Kenne

    Athletic Trainer

    Rachel graduated from the University of North Florida in April 2016 with her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. She is originally from Jacksonville, FL and now resides in the metro Atlanta area with her fiance and her dog.  Throughout her years playing sports and riding motocross, Rachel has suffered from shoulder, arm, and knee injuries and has spent time in physical therapy. Rachel entered the field of Athletic Training because she has a first-hand understanding of getting through injuries and returning to sport. She wants to help others do the same!

  • Ashley Popp

    Front Office Coordinator

    Ashley brings to Neurosport excellent patient relations and teamwork. Ashley knows the importance of excellent physical therapy and uses her experiences to assist new and existing patients. Ashley is currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration at Liberty University. In her spare time, she can be found enjoying time at the gym and hiking Kennesaw Mountain.

  • Andrea Coffin

    Front Office Coordinator

    Andrea brings a strong billing background with her to Neurosport Physical Therapy. Originally from California, Andrea has two children named Victoria and Elizabeth. She graduated from Savannah Tech with a degree in marketing. When she is not helping out patients at Neurosport, she enjoys swimming and visiting her friends and family.

    Front Desk Coordinator

    Calista Sewell is a Marietta native. She graduated from Wheeler High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. When she is not at Neurosport, she enjoys cooking new meals and finding fun ways to work out and stay active!

    Front Desk Coordinator

    Rachel Mendenhall, originally from Dayton, Ohio, now lives in the Atlanta area. She currently attends Kennesaw State University. Go Owls! In her free time, she loves to travel, hike, and hang out with her friends. Picture on the way!
